Weight?

weight

I’m 5′7″ (not done growing) and weigh about 125 lbs. Is this an ideal weight for someone this height? I really want to model, so I’m planning on SAFELY losing to about 115. Does that sounds better?
I’m 14 btw, so that’s why I’m not done growing.

  3. You have the perfect weight. As long as you carry your weight well and that you have a low body fat percentage you should be fine. (Remember muscle weighs more than fat) You can check your BMI on many websites by just going on Google and typing in “Calculate my BMI”. The only thing is you are a little short compared to the average model. Good luck!!

  6. Holy CRAP….. you are way to skinny!!! Not to talk about myself or anything but i am 5′8 5′9 and weigh like 160-165. AND no i am not fat i am pretty skinny with like an inch of fat.

This is not safe if anything you need to gain weight

It is even worse that you are still growing

  8. Whatever you do, don’t try to lose weight. Everyone’s bodies are different, so you may not fit the norm, and you shouldn’t strive. You are at a good weight. If you want to find out if you need to lose some weight, get on a strict healthy diet and exercise regimen. If you drop any weight, then you’ll know where your healthy weight is.

  9. You should not really bother with losing weight since 5′7 is a little on the short side for high fashion modeling (if that’s what your interested in). In high fashion modeling, its more of the measurements instead of weight (ideally, a 5′9 model, which usually is the minimum height for agencies should have a bust of 34 inches, a waist of 24 inches and hips of 34 inches). If commercial modeling is what you’re interested in, just stick to your weight and focus on being healthy and fit since there really are no restrictions on models used in commercial print and media. You’ll have about two more years left of growth depending on when you had your period (since girls usually stop growing two years after their period). I stopped at sixteen and my sister at fifteen. You can get this checked out with an xray to see if your growth plates fused yet. However, this “rule” of when a girl stops growing varies from person to person.
